McAfee officially selected Medusoft as McAfee Authorized Support Provider. This has made Medusoft the support desk for every McAfee business licensee in the Netherlands. From now on Medusoft will take care over tier 1 and 2 of McAfee’s support desk. Moreover Medusoft has direct access to tier 3 support specialists of the US IT-security company.
Medusoft is the only IT security service provider in The Netherlands and Germany who received the McAfee Authorized Support Provider (MASP) status. According to CEO Erik Remmelzwaal this is an acknowledgement of Medusoft’s knowledge and expertise. “In 2011 our customers awarded our support desk with an 8,5/10. Besides our efficient and competent support our customers appreciate the fact that they can call us 24/7 and we offer support both in Dutch as well as in English.” Well known Medusoft customers are Imtech, ASML, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation and the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam.
The international research and advisory firm Gartner appointed McAfee as ‘leader’ for endpoint protection platforms, such as antivirus, and next generation intrusion prevention. In their rapport Gartner stated that McAfee’s support desk needed some attention. By introducing the MASP program McAfee is confident to improve the local support to their customers. Something Remmelzwaal can affirm: “Since more than 10 years Medusoft is offering technical support for McAfee products. Our resolution times have always been demonstrably short and probably will get shorter in time because of our direct connection with McAfee’s best technical specialists.”
Apart from Medusoft there are only three other companies in Europe which are MASP certified.
